First Vista-based digital software to be unveiled at Screen Expo, 2008 London 2008:

The fast growing world of Digital signage sees a new entrant Tru-I Suite.

Designed by the New Delhi-based, TruKnox Technologies, Tru-I Suite is all set to revolutionize the world of digital signage.

To be unveiled at the upcoming Screen Expo 2008, this next generation digital signage software, especially developed for Windows Vista, is packed with a host of special features making it a strong contender for the frontrunner post in the digital signage software industry.

The Tru-i suite has five products

– Tru-i Designer
- Tru-i Scheduler
- Tru-i Player
- Tru-i Booking Agent
- Tru-i Billing Agent

The latter two are available as add-ons.

Tru-i Suite’s architecture empowers the user to create an exceptional, vibrant and dynamic experience for the audience. This is a plug-in based software where new features can be incorporated as effortlessly as client specific custom plug-ins.

Features that make Tru-i distinctive include transparency of every object with videos over still and still over video, layer over layer, more than HD playback capability with full scalability, customized clock (digital/analogue) which can show multiple time zones using 2D/3D Transitions, animated gradations in background, digital clock and date over video with full control of colours and transparency, and one can make multiples of any object in the same presentation. Multiple content zones can enhance experience at a much greater length. Rich text supports multiple lines that can be animated through transition effects with full control over transparency and color.

Other features include image slideshow with 2D/3D transitions, customized separator, RSS feed text news, with vertical and horizontal direction options, etc.

“We can control the transparency and speed of the ticker as well,” adds Mr. Monga. Tru-i Scheduler offers grouping support with the ability to define playback groups for ease of scheduling. “With Scheduler, operators can target their content to the right audience at the right time,” he adds.

Other features include remote management, wherein all players can be administered from a single location and minimizes the bandwidth required for transfer by using smart scheduling. “We have equipped our software with Tru-i Presenter, which is the presentation player. It supports playback of content available locally, designed by Tru-i Designer, and also downloading of selective content from the online data center or from the third party vendor as and when needed by the presentations. It has in-built self-healing mechanism that repairs itself when required. It has full logging support that makes the past status of the Tru-i Presenter available remotely. Besides this, the proof of play feature also generates the detailed playback log of videos, as well as periodical screenshots of the content being played on the display unit.” Explains Mr. Monga, “The optional Tru-i Booking Agent is web enabled and is designed to, determine the availability of space, time and position demographically, geographically and on custom basis, as well as provide the costing. The Billing Agent (also optional) will generate invoice from the playback information retrieved from the logger. This can be emailed to the advertiser periodically or on demand.”
