Tecom, inventor of the TechPod Interactive Multimedia Lectern,
announces its latest feature, a docking port allowing iPads
and iPhones to directly interact with the TechPods integrated
audio-visual technologies. Tecom will be demonstrating the
technology from June 9-11 at InfoComm 2010 in Las Vegas, Booth
C4359.

Universities such as Louisiana State, Trinity, and Rutgers
have already integrated TechPods into recent facilities renovations.
The TechPod has become the standard lectern installed during
upgrade projects; it easily retrofits into existing facilities,
ensuring any location can enjoy the latest combination of
presentation technologies in a single unit.
With the newest features, Tecom is continuing in its mission
to provide an always-available, simple interface to run multimedia
presentations on-the-fly. Designed for intuitive use, the
TechPod is an all-in-one lectern with all devices, such as
computers, LCD projectors, and CD/DVD players, managed via
a single control panel. Presenters no longer have to undergo
extensive training on racks full of amplifiers, controls,
and switches; they can now focus on their messages, not the
technology.
With installations in universities, corporations, and military
and law enforcement training centers worldwide, the TechPod
has proven itself to be the most advanced, reliable and user-friendly
multimedia lectern on the market. A green product, the TechPod
reduces energy costs and minimizes bulb replacement. After
use, simply closing the lecterns cabinet door shuts
down all equipment as it secures the entire system.
