New Technology Combines up to 16 A/V
Extenders Into One, Creating Dynamic, Rack-Mountable Unit
SmartAVI, Inc., a world-leading innovator in the fields of
digital content creation, management and delivery solutions
through hardware and software, today unveiled its brand new
extension hardware solution for multiple A/V components, Rack-XTPro.

Rack-XTPro combines up to 16 A/V extenders into one dynamic,
rack-mountable unit, eliminating the headache of buying multiple
extenders for devices such as servers, DVD players and receivers.
The 3U design of the Rack-XTPro eliminates multiple power
supplies and easily assimilates into rack/stacked configurations.
Were excited by this new extension solution for
system architects that integrate multiple devices into digital
signage, workplace productivity enhancements or any configuration
that requires more than a couple component signals being extended,
said Albert Cohen, CEO of SmartAVI, Inc. Rack-XTPro
gives architects the ability to extend their hi-res video,
audio, RS-232 and IR signals over 1,000 feet without the mess
and headache of power supply wires everywhere or having to
purchase multiple extender units. With our new Rack Series
hardware solutions, were able to simplify the process
of extending your components while offering you a sleek, dynamic,
rack-mountable solution that uses cutting-edge technology
that SmartAVI is known internationally for delivering.
SmartAVIs Rack-XTPro is specifically designed to extend
high-resolution video, stereo audio, RS-232 and infrared signals
distances greater than 1,000 feet via a single unit which
comes in four, 8 and 16 input/output models for large to small-scale
rack configurations.
Using inexpensive CAT cabling, Rack-XTPro is the perfect solution
for rack-to-end point display needs, rack-to-rack linking
such as on campuses or throughout large office buildings and
also for end point-to-rack activity monitoring of multiple
work stations.
Trends within the A/V component marketplace indicate both
professional systems architects and personal end users alike
are integrating multiple devices into their educational, corporate
and sales presentations.
A multi-device configuration typically requires extension
hardware for every couple of components. SmartAVI has found
that our clients respond strongly to all-in-one units that
integrate seamlessly into their setup, eliminating multiple
extenders, power strips and unnecessary wires running in every
direction. Professionals want clean, simplified system designs,
which is exactly what our new Rack Series of products addresses
and accomplishes.
Pricing for SmartAVIs Rack-XTPro models begins at $1,699.
