HDMI Signal Extension Solution Transmits

Smart-AVI, Inc., announces the release of a new HDMI signal
extender that is capable of transmitting 1080p video and embedded
audio 150 feet over CAT6 to up to three remote monitors and
one local display for real-time monitoring.
Smart-AVIs HDX-400 is a dynamic signal extension unit
that utilizes inexpensive CAT6 STP cabling to transmit high-definition
video signals with embedded sound to up to three remote monitors
150 feet away.

This source signal can come from a gaming console, DVD or
Blue-ray player or any other HDMI device that outputs high-resolution
video. In addition, the HDX-400 also supports a local display
for real-time monitoring. This allows an administrator to
see what is being shown on the remote displays without having
to leave an office or control room.
The HDX-400 is a fantastic product in that it enables
the extension of an HDMI 1080p signal by inexpensive CAT6
cabling to several monitors at once, said Albert Cohen,
president and CEO of Smart-AVI, Inc.
Local real-time monitoring is also possible with the
HDX-400, which is a very handy feature that allows system
administrators to see whats being played over the remote
screens at any given time without having to leave the control
environment. This unit is perfect for broadcasting any high-definition
HDMI signal it can be from a PlayStation or other
gaming console; it can be a Blue-ray player. Whatever the
need, its possible to extend the 1080p signal to three
remote screens easily and inexpensively without having to
worry about sacrificing quality for distance.
