projectiondesign announces their newest
cutting edge addition to their WUXGA family, consisting of
the F10 WUXGA and F30 WUXGA single-chip DLP® projectors
with the premier of the world's first 3-chip WUXGA projector,
the F80 WUXGA.

"With the F80 WUXGA, we've reinvented the way 3-chip
projectors are manufactured with a more compact and efficiently
designed architecture", says Anders Lokke, International
Marketing & Communications Manager at projectiondesign.
"This product promises to be a fantastic success in the
most demanding of image critical computer graphics applications.
WUXGA is fast becoming a new projector trend and we're delighted
to have been the first to introduce and deliver projectors
with this resolution into the market. We expect it to be a
huge hit with InfoComm visitors as well as our high end customers."
The 3-chip F80 WUXGA produces a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200
and 2.3 million pixels, producing extremely high-resolution
images. What's more, the projector allows the user to adjust
the color gamut and calibration optically through the use
of ACOP (Advanced Color Optical Processing) as well as to
fine tune the calibration using their proprietary RealColor
color management suite. It also features unprecedented contrast
and dynamics through the introduction of dynamic contrast
enhancement for 3-chip projectors, showing for the first time
and incorporated in the F80 WUXGA.
The introduction of WUXGA has been achieved in close association
with key chip component supplier Texas Instruments DLP®
and to date has been incorporated in the projectiondesign
F10 WUXGA and F30 WUXGA single-chip projectors. Nancy Fares,
business manager for DLP 3-Chip products and DLP Cinema®
comments on the new F80 WUXGA product introduction: "We
look forward to receiving a great deal of interest in the
first 3-chip WUXGA resolution which promises superior levels
of color, brightness and reliability for the highend
professional audio visual market. To be involved with the
very first showing of this type of projector at InfoComm 08
is very exciting for us and our key partner, projectiondesign."
projectiondesign banishes restrictions on projector placement
with their inter-changeable optics that can be shifted both
vertically and horizontally to cover any need ranging from
1 to 7:1.
Keeping the image on-screen at all times is projectiondesign's
own DuArch technology located at the heart of the F80
WUXGA projector. It enables 'hot swapping' of lamps while
the unit is in operation. DuArch features dual lamps,
dual illumination optimisers and dual illumination optics.
Be first to see the world's first 3-chip WUXGA resolution
projector, the F80 WUXGA at the projectiondesign booth N5541,
June 18-20, 2008 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas,
Nevada.
