Premier Mounts Introduces Cable Management Accessory for PDS Series Projector Mounts

Based on input from system integrators and its dealer network, Premier Mounts has introduced the PWH Series of cable management accessories for its popular PDS Series Projector Mount.

Ideally suited for education and commercial applications where appearance and security are paramount, the PWH Series minimizes the visibility of cords and plugs to present a unified and professional mount-to-projector solution. A

n adaptation of Premier's line of pre-cut pipes (PTP Series), the PWH Series incorporates a cutout hole so that cables and electrical wiring can be run within the pipe. Convenient and easy to install, the PWH Series simplifies installation and streamlines the appearance of the projector mount solution.

"Loose, hanging projector cords and electrical components don't present a professional appearance and can be distracting to audiences," said Jason Cole, product marketing manager at Premier Mounts. "In today's competitive market, system integrators and installers need to present a finished look to their installation. The use of the PWH accessory is a simple solution that creates a sleek and uniform look."

Debuting at the 2008 InfoComm trade show in Las Vegas, the PWH Series is available in black or white powder coat finishes as well as a variety of lengths (4-inch, 8-inch, 10-inch, 18-inch and 24-inch). Manufactured from robust steel incorporates 1 ½ - inch NPT pipe thread to prevent cross-threading from occurring.
