range of lightweight, affordable LED products at Plasa2009

PIXLED is proud to
introduce a complete range of flexible, lightweight, indoor-outdoor
LED solutions suitable for a variety of creative applications
in the rental and permanent installation markets.
Combining ultra-lightweight design with outstanding performance
at affordable price-points, PIXLED removes a number of technical
and economical design constraints which have - until now -
restricted the use of LED in many projects. Lightweight and
affordable, and incorporating 3-in-1 SMD technology, PIXLED
offers both superb color depth as well as proven system reliability.
As the industry's lightest LED display solution, PIXLED brings
significant creative freedom to users in both the rental and
staging as well as permanent installation markets by simplifying
technical integration and rigging designs considerably.

Both the rental and permanent installation markets were often

The PIXLED now offers a cost-efficient, light-weight LED solution
that also delivers great image quality. Market acceptation
of the product confirms its flexibility in use, with PIXLED
already being used on concerts for DJ Tiesto, Take That, Keith
Urban and Pink, as well as installations on the Euro Song
Vision contest and on the Mercedes booth at the Frankfurt
Car Show. PIXLED offers a rugged range of products that are

Standard PIXLED panels:
The standard PIXLED LED products range in
pixel pitch from 5mm to 40mm, offering users every option
from cost-efficient high-resolution LED solutions to ultra-lightweight,
virtually transparent screens.
The high-resolution PIXLED products (5 to
10mm pixel pitch) incorporate Nichia's revolutionary Black
LED technology and offer remarkably deep black levels and
outstanding contrast levels. Together with the Radiant Color
Calibration System PIXLED delivers rich, vibrant video images
with perfect uniformity across the entire display surface.
The mid-to-low resolution products (10 to 40mm pixel pitch)
feature transparency ratios of 10-50%, opening up a wide range
of creative design possibilities without compromising on image
quality. With PIXLED, designers can now create large, wide-canvas
screens and layer video with lighting to create stunning visual
3D-like effects.
