Job Description

This position performs OR1 System installations at customer sites. Essential Job Functions Overtime required – including weekends and nights. Travel required – to job sites throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Regular attendance for scheduled shifts. Perform all duties in a professional and safe manner.The knowledge and ability to use both hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner. Perform basic installation tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner. Such tasks include but are not limited to:
- Pulling and securing of System copper and fiber cable in plenum spaces, cable trays, and conduit Install connectors, via crimp and solder methods
- Projector mounting and hanging Large LCD mounting and hanging Positive and effective interaction with internal and external Customers
- Read and interpret Electronic and Hard Copy Schematics and Architectural Blue Prints to apply information to complete installations
- Receive equipment at Customer sites with associated responsibilities
- Reports to senior installation personnel while on site
- Basic programming skills Basic signal flow for audio, video, and control ability to trouble shoot basic system problems
- Ability to assist in testing integrated systems Mentor Level 1 Technicians

Other duties as requested or required Non-essential Job Functions
- Able to be timely and efficient in executing weekly paperwork responsibilities.
- Able to prioritize responsibilities for most efficient use of time.

Qualifications: High School degree or equivalent. ICIA CTS certification or class in progress.

Ability to follow instructions and meet assigned task deadlines. Attention to detail. Effective interaction with employees, Customers, and colleagues. Problem solving and trouble shooting skills. Must posses a valid Drivers License and be a safe driver. Have a current U.S. Passport. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Climb and work on ladders up to heights of 35 feet.
