At InfoComm 2008, Danley Sound Labs
is introducing the SH-46 Synergy Horn, a 40 x 60-degree dispersion
pattern
speaker offering very high-output capability with ultra high-fidelity.
This latest addition to the company's Synergy Horn product
line is designed to be operated vertically or horizontally
and may be configured standalone or in an array.
The SH-46 handles 1,400 watts RMS of power and has a sensitivity
of 106dB. Frequency response is 70Hz - 16kHz (+/-4dB, using
two or more cabinets). The braced Baltic birch enclosure measures
29 inches high by 22.5 inches wide and 22.75 inches deep and
weighs 105 pounds.
"The SH-46 provides more vertical coverage and higher
output than the SH-50. It doesn't go as low or as high as
the SH-50 but for many applications the SH-46 will be a welcomed
addition to the Danley Synergy Horn line," noted
Mike Hedden, president of Danley Sound Labs. "To hear
the latest loudspeakers innovations from Tom Danley, visit
our booth and demo room at InfoComm. We'll remind you why
you got into audio in the first place. It's about the sound!"
Tom Danley is one of the most innovative loudspeaker designers
in the industry today and is recognized worldwide as a pioneer
for "outside the box" thinking in professional audio
technology. His legendary designs have

simulation, jet engine active noise cancellation, and sonic
boom generators to critical listening mastering studios, high-end

around the world.
