CHRISTIE INTRODUCES LATEST ADVANCEMENT TO AUTOMATICALLY COLOR MATCH PROJECTION ARRAYS

Christie, a leader in professional display and visualization solutions, announces the availability of Christie Advanced Color™, a new solution to expertly color match projector arrays in advanced visualization and simulation environments. The latest addition to Christie's TrueIMAGE™ integration solution suite of tools, Advanced Color achieves precise results and uniform color calibration of simple to complex arrayed displays, with minimal training and no expertise required.

The system integrates a precision light meter with Christie's advanced proprietary software to perform calculations of light output measurements. With the handheld light meter pointed at various targets on the projected array, the user captures light output measurements with a simple click. The software's graphic user interface performs the core calculations for precise results and calibrates the projectors to a high level of uniformity for color matching. The color uniformity is maintained until the user chooses to re-tweak the system.

With no technical expertise required, any number of users can maintain the display."

Christie's suite of TrueIMAGE integration solutions includes the industry breakthrough AutoCal™ automatic display system calibration, and MotoBlend™ motorized optical blending. Christie's advanced solutions offer reduced location resource requirements, increased customer independence in terms of display maintenance, more realistic displays and enhanced visual performance of the complete system.

Christie Advanced Color can be ordered as part of the Christie AutoCal solution or as a standalone option with a Christie integrated display. All of Christie TrueIMAGE integration solutions are compatible with Christie's current line of Matrix and Mirage 3-chip DLP® projectors.
