CHRISTIE EXPANDS 3LCD PRODUCT LINE WITH FEATURE RICH NEW PORTABLE

Christie, a leader in award winning,
high-quality LCD projectors and display products, today introduced
the Christie LX500, adding to the successful Christie LX380
and LX450 family of projectors. To meet the growing demands
of the professional display marketplace for higher brightness
at an economical cost, the Christie LX500 outputs a stunning
5000 ANSI lumens for larger venues such as education, medium
to large meeting/conference rooms, briefing centers and houses
of worship. Coupled with easy installation and maintenance
features, flexible connectivity, and long life optical components
– the Christie LX500 offers function and design to provide
a low total cost of ownership.
Packaged in a compact chassis, the projector blends seamlessly
into its surroundings and incorporates simple maintenance
features. Accessing the lens, filter, and lamp has never been
easier with a single front access filter, easy rear lamp accessibility,
and tool-less access to the lens for easy removal and replacement.
Its Pro A/V feature rich connections also make it very flexible
and presenter friendly, with a range of inputs to handle multiple
video and computer sources including analog 5xBNC, and digital
DVI-D inputs for HDTV standards up to 1080.

As with all of Christie’s successful line of LCD presentation
products, the Christie LX500 is designed for demanding applications
where image quality and detail are vital. The projector delivers
flawless presentations with 8-bit video processing, XGA resolution
and enduring LCD brightness with 2000 hours standard lamp
life, and up to 3000 hours in eco mode. Long lamp life together
with the projector’s unique airflow design and clogged
filter detection system also means minimal maintenance.
