Caltron Introduces small form factor LED Monitor

Caltron Industries, an industry provider of digital signage, open frame and touch screen monitor solutions, announced the addition of a new LED backlit open frame monitor, the new 8.4 inch LBT-0842O.

Available in both regular and touchscreen versions, the LBT-0842O LED monitor represent the latest cutting-edge technology in small form factor LED technology.

With the LBT-0842O\'s added options, users now have an affordable and versatile way to take advantage of LED benefits for their application. Energy conscious environments can now take advantage of the benefits that low energy consuming LED panels offer compared to its CCFL backlit brethren.

Whereas most CCFL panels are rated at 20,000 hours MTBF (mean time between failure), the new 8.4" LED panel we use in the LBT-0842O is rated at 50,000 hours MTBF. Coupled a longer lifespan with superior horizontal and vertical viewing angles, an ultra clear and bright 450 nit LED panel, and a much wider operational temperature range to meet the demands of integrators and custom OEM projects in areas such as digital signage, kiosks and automated vending markets, these benefits alone make the LBT-0842O an attractive bargain.

The LBT-0842O LED monitors provide users with maximum functionality thanks to numerous inputs (DVI, composite video, S-Video, BNC), along with serial/USB touch interfaces.
