Avitech Appoints Sheldon Gordon as VP Business

Avitech, an industry leader in multi-screen
display technology & multiviewers, today announced the
appointment of Sheldon Gordon as Vice President of Business
Development. In this new role with Avitech, Sheldon will be
responsible for driving growth of all of Avitech's products
and services while also assisting in the company's expansion
into new markets.

wealth of industry knowledge, and success in helping manufacturers
and customers transform their businesses," said Morris
Gong, Avitech's president. "His diverse experience in
the broadcast and video markets will help take Avitech's Multiviewer

welcome Sheldon to Avitech"
Gordon, a seasoned industry veteran brings
to his new position a 30-year track record of helping technology
companies grow their businesses. Prior to joining Avitech,
Sheldon was Manager of Business Development, Digital Projection
with Schneider Optics. He has also spearheaded a variety of
sales, marketing, training and technology activities at other
leading companies such as; Sony Electronics and Video Equipment
Rentals (VER).

processors offers a combination of technical quality, performance,
and price points that are well-suited to meet current market
needs," commented Sheldon. "I look forward to working

Sheldon recently received the SMPTE San Francisco Section
'Speaker of the Year Award.' In addition to his extensive
community involvement, Sheldon is affiliated with a variety
of professional associations including; the Society of Motion
Picture Television Engineering (SMPTE), Radio-Television News
Directors Association (RTNDA), Radio and Television Engineers
Association, and InfoComm.
In addition to being a MA graduate of California
State University, Sheldon has received advanced executive
and technology training.
