Apantac Showcases HDMI, Touch-Screen,
and KVM Extenders at ISE 2010

Apantac LLC, designer
and developer of high quality, cost effective multiviewers
and signal processing equipment announced the launch and immediate
availability of their new line-up of HDMI Extenders, Touch-Screen
Extenders, KVM Extenders and a Universal Extender.
The new Extenders are part of the MT HOOD Series of signal
processing solutions and will be on display on the Apantac
ISE 2010 booth no. 10I137, February 2-4, 2010 in Amsterdam.
HDMI Extenders
The new MT HOOD HDMI Extenders (HDMI-1-En and HDMI-1-Rn) extend
the transmission of uncompressed HDMI video signals over a
single CATx cable. Fully HDCP compliant, they extend HDMI
signals up to 115 feet (35 meters) and provide full HD 1080P
support.
Touch-Screen Extenders
The new Touch-Screen Extenders (TSE-1-E, TSE-1-R, TSE-1-Eu,
TSE-1-Ru, TSE-1-ED, TSE-1-RD) allow you to extend VGA and
DVI signals with either USB or RS232 touch-screen control
over a single CATx cable. They support 2048 x 1536 resolution
up to 1,000 feet (330 meters) for VGA, and 1920 x 1200 resolution
up to 115 feet (35 meters) for DVI. These devices are plug-and-play
and require no software to operate and provide video gain
and focus control for image quality adjustments.
Single and Dual-Head KVM Extenders
The full line of new KVM Extenders (KVM-1-E, KVM-1-Eu, KVM-1-ED)
support PS2 and USB devices, and VGA and DVI monitor access.
They allow users to extend and control KVM signals up to 2048
x 1536 resolution up to 1,000 feet (330 meters) for VGA, 1920
x 1200 resolution up to 115 feet (35 meters) for DVI, using
CATx cables. Full audio support is included.
A new family of dual-head KVM Extenders (KVM-2-ED, KVM-2-RD)
allows you to remotely control DVI, USB, Microphone and Audio
outputs.
Universal Extender
The UNI-1-E/R is an all in one extender that accepts VGA /
DVI / HDMI inputs and selects corresponding VGA / DVI / HDMI
outputs.
Apantac’s MT HOOD signal processing
series has been designed to provide users with a flexible
and innovative AV / IT technology solution for signal extension
and processing. The MT HOOD product family allows you to extend
HDMI, DVI, VGA, KVM and audio signals up to 1,000 feet using
a single CATX cable, giving you the assurance that you will
not loose any detail in your high definition image.
The MT HOOD extenders regenerate HD video and digital audio
from a source and transit it to the extended projectors or
monitors. They are plug-and-play solutions requiring no software
and can be cascaded for future expansion. MT HOOD is an ideal

of HD or high resolution computer, video and audio signals.
The MT HOOD line also includes 8 or 16-port KVM Switches and
4x8 HDMI Matrix Switchers both with built-in CATx extenders.
