of newly released rich media creation and management products
that enable audio-visual professionals to unify, and extract

The Accordent open system architecture enables companies,
education and public sector institutions to better leverage
their existing video infrastructure investments with easily
integrated content creation, management and reporting capabilities.
New features in Accordent's latest product line further streamline
the ability for organizations to tie their legacy online video,
videoconferencing, and web conferencing capabilities to a
unified library.
Within this portal environment, delivered by the Accordent
Media Management System, users can precisely search
for content, and tap the system's tracking and reporting capabilities
to gain powerful insight into the ways that individuals consume
and interact with the online versions of legacy or newly created
content.
During InfoComm08, Accordent will showcase how its products
enable clients to capture and convert video content from a
wide range of environments and applications, including:
HD cameras and projection screens: The Accordent Capture Station
- HD enables online audiences to experience high-definition
(HD) video and visuals, live or on-demand, in the 16x9 resolution
required by HD-enabled LCD and plasma screens.
Videoconferencing archive Accordent enhances videoconferencing
installations by automatically creating archived streaming
versions of sessions that can be viewed online, on-demand.
This enables organizations to easily search for and retrieve
archived meetings and enables them to extend valuable information
to much wider audiences.
TANDBERG videoconferencing archive search, management and
viewer tracking - Accordent's integration with the TANDBERG
Content Server (TCS) takes streaming-enhanced videoconferencing
to the next level, providing an unattended workflow via which
TCS archived videoconferencing sessions are ingested by the
Accordent Media Management System. There, the archives can
be secured, organized into categories, searched, managed and
can provide business intelligence about the effectiveness
of online communications programs through viewer tracking
and statistics.
Online training and certification: Clients across a wide range
of industries including utilities, technology and traditional
manufacturing, municipal first responders, and healthcare
are tapping new upgrades to the Accordent Media Management
System to save money and increase efficiency. These organizations
use the system to provide online courses including
customizable testing modules, surveys and certificates
and to generate auditable reports for a wide range of mandatory
continuing professional educational requirements.
Distance learning: Accordent is the only end-to-end rich media
communications solution that automatically spans the end-to-end
range of capture, viewer authentication, tracking, management,
search and online testing capabilities for live or on-demand
rich media streaming versions of lectures, practicals and
classes. In the last 18 months, the Accordent Media Management
System has been adopted by dozens of the nation's most prestigious
graduate and higher education institutions to enable time-pressed

Smart room integration Accordent rich media creation
products can be controlled via leading manufacturers' room-based
control systems, including AMX and Crestron, and can capture
high-quality video from any VGA source - from laptops to handhelds,
electronic whiteboards to document cameras, videoconferencing
end points to statistical calculators.
Learning and course management system integration The
Accordent rich media communications suite supports publishing
to Blackboard and open-source LMS systems, and has been integrated
with a wide range of corporate learning management systems
to enable corporate trainers to add streaming learning objects
to CBT and blended curricula.

and one-time public webinar viewer access registration
in addition to integration with the TANDBERG Content Server.
The Accordent Rich Media Communications Suite is the only
