ITC (Instant Tool-less
Connector), a division of The Quest Group (parent company
of AudioQuest), today announced that it has extended the
reach of its sales and support networks for its tool-less
line of connectors to Europe by signing agreements with
well-known distributors Habitech Ltd. in England and Fusion
Technologies in Ireland. The partnerships represent the
next step in ITC's strategy for worldwide growth as it
taps the market demand for its products beyond North America.
Partnering with Habitech and Fusion Technologies is a
key step in continuing to introduce ITC's innovative solutions
to the worldwide market. Current crimp and compression
termination systems require multiple tools or dies. ITC's
connectors, however, do not require a tool for termination.
For residential and commercial A/V system installers,
the ITC tool-less system reduces termination time, complexity,
and failure rate for a savings of time and money.
"Our philosophy is to provide products that are simple
to use and easy to install," said Jonathan Pengilley,
president of Habitech. "ITC's line of tool-less connectors
certainly meets those criteria by not requiring multiple
tools or dies. In addition, it saves installers both time
and money in the field, which lowers costs and allows
more consumers to take advantage of the latest in A/V
technologies for their homes."
Both companies are value-added trade distributors of a
diverse range of A/V and automation technologies for market-leading
manufacturers, with next-business-day delivery of the
majority of their stock products.
In England, Habitech strives to grow the home entertainment
market by focusing on providing lower-cost solutions that
will enable middle-income homeowners to purchase the latest
A/V technologies. To enhance its brands and provide exceptional
service levels for the reseller, Habitech provides technical
backup for integrators to ensure that all products are
installed correctly. Dublin-based Fusion Technologies
works through a national network of resellers and systems
integrators in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland
for residential, commercial, and educational applications.
"We are very excited to have our product line represented
by such distinguished distributors as Habitech and Fusion
Technologies," said William Low, CEO of The Quest
Group. "These partnerships are a key step in continuing
our growth strategy as we penetrate the consumer electronics
market beyond North America. The established relationships
these distributors have, along with their reputations
for market-leading products and exceptional service, will
be invaluable to us as we establish our presence in Europe."
