YCD (www.ycd.net), the world pioneer in on-site digital ambience solutions will be unveiling their 3D turnkey solution for in-store media displays at InfoComm 2007, using 3D Displays of Philips 3D Solutions (www.philips.com/3dsolutions ), a line of business of Royal Philips Electronics. This partnership will create a 3D solution for the retail environment, providing an immersive video experience for retailers to connect with their consumers in 3D. Jon Young, Vice President of Sales for YCD’s North American office, will be on site to demonstrate this in-store media innovation.
The new solution comprises full integration between YCD’s MuVi™ platform and Philips’ 3D Displays. Combining YCD’s MuVi, the world’s leading platform for managing in-store audio and video content and Philips’ 3D Displays, the “3D MuVi Player” enables consumers to have an in-store 3D experience without the aid of 3D glasses, allowing multiple consumers to all share in the same ambient experience. Through the MuVi platform, clients will be able to easily manage their 3D content including the adding of 3D texts, RSS, flash ads or logos offering an unparalleled in store experience. 3D Video Screens are now finally able to be a part of the retail experience, and is the latest technological innovation that will enhance the customer visit
