U.S. Nippura, Inc. is the U.S. office of the Japanese company, Nippura, who is the world leader in the manufacturing of large commercial aquarium panels such as those used at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the Georgia Aquarium. In fact, Nippura holds the world record for the largest aquarium panel and they are currently installing a larger panel that will be the new record holder. However, in recent years Nippura has caused a stir in the A/V industry with the manufacture of Blue Ocean® Rear Projection Screens which are a mixture of their signature acrylic panels and a prorietary diffusion particle, Blue Ocean®. The screens are made from two ultra-clear panels of cell cast acrylic with a hi-tolerance viewing plane centered between them to deliver frameless, edge-to-edge projection for high-definition viewing. What viewers encounter is an amazingly brilliant and color-faithful image, one unrestricted by lines and lenses, one so deep and bodied that it appears to be flowing out of the Blue Ocean® screen. The unique construction also gives them the versatility demanded by the imaginations of architects, designers, and image-industry developers everywhere as they can be mounted on an acrylic stand, suspended in midair for a free floating effect, wrapped around corners, or used for full outdoor use. A new line a thin rear projection screens and front projection screens have also been added to our inventory. The thin rear projection screens offer a very lightweight and versatile solution for unique applications.
