TV Magic Performs HD Upgrade for Jewish Voice Ministries

systems integrator TV Magic today announced that it is completing
an HD studio and edit facility installation for Jewish Voice
Ministries International to support HD production of "Jewish
Voice with Jonathan Bernis," as well as documentaries,
outreach pieces, and other Messianic productions. The installation
will enable Jewish Voice Ministries to provide HD programming
to networks such as TBN's Church Channel as they migrate to
HD, as well as to provide higher-quality SD programming immediately
to viewers watching on Christian networks around the world.

to take our programming to the next level, we'd need to upgrade
the quality of our equipment and the programs we could shoot
and produce," said Paul Anderson, COO at Jewish Voice

this process, going above and beyond to work with our needs,
budget, and timeline; answering all our questions; and ensuring
that all our systems operate just the way they should. We've
worked hand-in-hand with TV Magic to make this the best facility

Jewish Voice Ministries is remodeling a video production studio
in Phoenix, Ariz., to include a new set and lighting, as well
as HD equipment provided by TV Magic. Four Grass Valley LDK
4000 HDTV cameras, a Grass Valley Kayak HD production switcher,
Grass Valley routing gear, and Evertz signal distribution
and conditioning equipment are among the key systems within
the new HD studio. The production team will master to DVCPRO
HD, working with a Panasonic AJ-HD1400 HD recorder, and finish
material using three Avid edit bays (supporting various formats),
a graphics bay, an audio room with full software for multichannel
recording and mix-downs, as well as a machine room for DVD
and audio duplication.
The new HD facility, named the "International Messianic
Media Center," is designed to not only provide Jewish
Voice Ministries with greater outreach and impact on the world,
but also to serve as a one-stop resource for other Messianic
Jewish ministries seeking to produce high-quality video productions.
Because the project has come in on budget, the ministry can
offer this resource to fellow ministries seeking affordable
HD production.
