Tecom Electronics, developer of TechPod, the world’s first fully interactive, comprehensive multimedia lectern, has once again demonstrated it is out to “wow” its customers with immediate responsiveness to their expressed needs.
TechPod has now come up with a new, sensitive interactive screen, making it the ideal writing board even for maps and medical applications. This allows everyone from trainers at army bases and city planners to physicians to clearly annotate their material for the audience without stepping away from their TechPod lectern. Those who have experienced the new interactive screen report enthusiastically that eye-hand coordination is so simplified that the interaction is intuitive and efficient.
Fully protected by the Lecterns tempered protective glass, the interactive screen is more sensitive to the new TechPod pen, and has already been acclaimed by users.
In addition, Tecom has added other enhancements, including a new AV controller, for faster transitions between media; improved 2-way loudspeakers supplied as part of the solution, and more.
According to Tecom's CEO Aviv Brosilovski, the new features “are a continuation of Tecom’s mission since its inception, which is to listen to its customers. As our lecterns are installed at more and more sites in different sectors, we translate our customers’ ‘wish list’ into reality!”
About the TechPod:
TechPod is a breakthrough audio-visual lectern that has every multimedia capability built in. One simple control panel is used for controlling every AV device, from an LCD projector, PC or document camera to a laptop, VCR and CD/DVD player. TechPod's interactive protected, yet highly sensitive screen, can be used instead of a writing board in the hall, meeting the presenter’s every need.
TechPod is offering a complete "out-of the box" solution and is therefore applicable in educational institutions, government and military training facilities, conference centers, worship facilities and more.
The TechPod is successfully installed in Europe and Israel, and is now starting to impact the U.S. market.
