Symetrix Announces Upgrade To Integrator Series Zone Mix 760

May 22, 2007

Source: Symetrix Audio

Symetrix, one of the leading providers of signal processing technology for the installed sound market, is showing version 1.1 of the Integrator Series Zone Mix 760 paging and music management system at the InfoComm 2007 exhibition. The introduction of several enhancements to the functionality of the 760 - all in response to user feedback - is a testament to the company's desire to continually upgrade products and a demonstration of the importance that Symetrix places on customer satisfaction.

Version 1.1 introduces a number of feature enhancements to the 760, a zone mixer that has been designed to provide the optimal feature set and I/O count needed for restaurants, hotels, sports bars and nightclubs at a ground-breaking price. The number of presets now available has been increased from ten to fifty, and some minor issues have additionally been fixed. Direct keyboard entry has been enabled for all numeric fields. Users simply double-click on a numeric field, such as a volume level or EQ frequency, to edit it. Level control has been improved with the introduction of finer resolution on the faders. Numeric resolution of the main faders is no longer rounded to the nearest 0.5dB. Finally, the reliability of the Connection Wizard has been improved with version 1.1.

The first product in the new Integrator Series, which incorporates processing taken directly from the proven technology embodied in the SymNet(tm) DSP toolbox, the Zone Mix 760 offers twelve inputs (four microphone, eight stereo line level) and six outputs. It features microphone pre-amplification, compression, AGC, matrix mixing, paging, feedback elimination, filters and equalization, and Ambient Noise Compensation within a single rack space. Setup is easy and efficient with a straightforward Windows(r) interface connected over Ethernet. The 760 is also compatible with Symetrix Adaptive Remote Control (ARC) wall panels for user control.
