Digital signage solutions pioneer C-nario will unveil the groundbreaking Digital Signage Server (DSS) at InfoComm 2007, for the first time allowing users to pinpoint audiences eight times more accurately at a fraction of the cost, without compromising quality.
“There is a demand for more targeted high-impact digital signage campaigns and improved quality, while many customers are also battling the high cost of ownership.” said Rami Bahar, VP of Marketing and Sales for C-nario. “The industry standard is a single screen, single PC and highly qualified IT support. C-nario’s Digital Signage Server marks a milestone for the industry, running high definition content across eight displays with an easy-to-manage, cost-effective single PC for customers in the banking, retail, advertising and transportation markets, among others.”
C-nario successfully developed autonomous and efficient decoding technology that enables playing up to eight different channels of multilayered multi-source layouts from a standard PC. Each channel includes several content layers composed by the server in real-time, allowing integration of HD video with on-line feeds from web sites, data bases, live TV and even interactivity with mobile phones.
The Digital Signage Server is the newest addition to C-nario’s dynamic signage solutions portfolio, offering lower infrastructure and maintenance costs, space-efficiency, and future proof deployments.
C-nario has been setting new standards in the growing digital signage industry - estimated by analysts to reach a global market size of $14.6 billion in 2011 - from its inception, when it introduced the world’s first digital advertising projection network on cinema screens (1999) and the world’s first digital billboard (2000). The Company has deployed campaigns in 26 countries in such prime venues as CNN Center, JFK Airport, BBC Community TV project, Clear Channel London Network (UK), Bank Hapoalim (Israel) and other major projects in Europe, Asia and the US.
C-nario will be presenting at InfoComm 2007, Booth #14011, in the Digital Signage Pavilion.
